Accessibility

Our goal is to make YARLSRI NEWS easier to read, navigate and use for everyone.

Draft accessibility statement. This page describes planned accessibility practices. It does not claim that the live website has been audited or certified. Last reviewed: To be confirmed.

1. Our accessibility commitment

We aim to provide news content that is accessible to people using a range of devices, assistive technologies and input methods. This statement describes our intentions, not a certification of compliance.

3. Reading and visual presentation

Our pages are designed with responsive layouts, clear headings and readable text. You can use your browser’s zoom and text-size controls to adjust the display.

4. Images, audio and video

We aim to provide meaningful alternative text for editorial images, and captions or transcripts for video and audio where practical. Some sample media and future live broadcasts may not yet offer these features.

5. Languages and assistive technology

YARLSRI NEWS plans to publish in multiple languages. We aim to identify page language correctly and test common screen-reader and browser combinations as content is introduced.

6. Known limitations

This is a development-stage website. Sample media, interactive previews and some third-party embeds may not meet every accessibility requirement. A formal accessibility audit has not yet been completed.

7. Report an accessibility problem

If you have difficulty accessing a page, please use our Contact Us page. Include the page URL, the problem you encountered and, if comfortable, the device or assistive technology you used.

8. Review and improvements

We intend to review accessibility as the website develops and update this statement after testing. No formal conformance level or audit date is claimed at this stage.
